The SantanaXXL Supremacy

SantanaXXL is one of the most famous and highest paid adult entertainers in the world. We have long been cheering him on from the sidelines at Bear World Magazine but what he has accomplished is truly momentous and we are so excited to have him on our cover this month.

To attain his level of success in the world of gay adult entertainment as a plus-sized man of color is nothing short of historic. It’s no secret that the mainstream gay porn studios just don’t feature fat bodies, period; and they have long been criticized for not featuring enough racial diversity in their content. So, it really cannot be overstated how incredible it was that SantanaXXL was asked for film for men.com earlier this year.

That’s not to say that Santana wasn’t doing just fine before them. After all, they sought him out for collaboration because his self-made content on Only Fans, and Just for Fans earned him a massive following on Twitter/X (@santanaxxlll) with nearly 850,000 followers. He single-handedly popularized the rubber glove/ throat goat combo technique (as we like to call it) which has brought the biggest stars in the industry to convulsive climax in Santana’s now famous passenger seat.

We are in awe of this man’s beauty, confidence, humility, business sense, and of course his skills in the bedroom. Get to know SantanaXXL.

John Hernandez (JH): Welcome Santana! I am thrilled you could join us. Let’s dive right in! When did you start creating adult content and why?

SantanaXXL: I started creating adult content by mistake about 10 years ago. At first, I was just making videos with my ex-boyfriend. What started as something casual turned into something much bigger as the videos gained attention. Over time, I realized I could use this platform to represent plus-size men and challenge the industry’s beauty standards.

JH: And we love you for it!  How did you develop your trademark oral/rubber glove technique?

SantanXXL: The rubber glove technique was born out of experimentation. I wanted to add a unique element to my scenes, something that people would remember. The gloves became my signature—it’s all about enhancing the experience and bringing something fresh and unexpected to the performance. The response has been amazing!

JH: (Laughs) I’d say!  What led you to recording content in cars?

SantanaXXL: Honestly, it started out of convenience—sometimes you just work with what you have. But the car content took off because it adds that element of thrill, spontaneity, and rawness. It’s a different vibe from traditional set productions, and my audience loved it. It became a thing!

JH: It sure has! Tell us about working with Men.com. What was your experience on set and with your co-star?

SantanaXXL: Working with Men.com was a major milestone for me. The production was top-notch, and they treated me with so much respect. My co-star was great to work with, and we had an amazing chemistry on set. It felt like an important step, not just for me but for representation in the industry. Men.com really opened doors for me and showed that the industry is ready for more diverse body types and performers.

JH: What has the response been to your history-making scene? Do you know when you’ll be shooting with them again?

SantanaXXL: The response has been overwhelmingly positive. People were excited to see a bigger, Black gay performer take center stage in a major production. The feedback has been nothing but love, and I’m grateful for that. As for shooting with them again, we’re in talks, so hopefully soon!

JH: On social media we’ve seen you lay waste to your haters. How do you overcome that negativity, and where does your confidence come from?

SantanaXXL: Haters are going to hate, but I don’t let that get to me. I’ve learned to let the negativity fuel my success rather than hold me back. My confidence comes from within and from knowing that I’m making an impact. Plus, the support from my fans keeps me going strong. You can’t please everyone, so why try?

JH: Words to live by. Are there any performers you haven’t worked with yet that you want to, and what else would you like to accomplish in the adult industry?

SantanaXXL: There are so many talented performers I haven’t had the chance to collaborate with yet, but I’m always open to new opportunities. I want to keep pushing boundaries in the industry—showing that plus-size, Black men can be at the top. Eventually, I’d love to transition into mainstream entertainment and continue breaking barriers.

JH: I think you’re just the person to do it. What words of advice do you have for the big bears and chubs out there who might be self-conscious or lack confidence in their bodies?

SantanaXXL: Love yourself first. I know it sounds cliché, but it’s the truth. The world might try to tell you that you’re not enough, but that’s on them, not you. Embrace who you are, love your body, and don’t let anyone make you feel less than. Confidence comes when you accept yourself fully—everything else falls into place from there.

JH: Great advice. And any dating or hook up tips to land gorgeous men like the ones you film with?

SantanaXXL: Be confident and be yourself—that’s the most attractive thing you can offer. Don’t chase after people for their looks alone; find those who vibe with your energy. Respect and chemistry are key in any connection, and when you’re true to yourself, the right people will find you.

JH: Very true and what is next for you? Is there anything we haven’t mentioned that you’d like to cover?

SantanaXXL: I’m looking to expand my brand beyond adult entertainment, including potential business ventures and some charity work. I want to give back to the community that has supported me. More studio work is definitely on the horizon, and I’m excited about what’s next. Big things are coming, so stay tuned!

JH: Amazing! Congratulations on your success and I look forward to what you have in store for us next.

SantanaXXL: Thank you so much!
