Straight Bear Crush: Jason Kelce
The Bear World Magazine staff has just learned who Jason Kelce is and now they want to share his bearish beauty with you in case you, like them, have somehow missed out on his tantalizing gorgeousness for the last thirteen years he’s been playing in the NFL. He got them so riled up in fact that they have chosen to resurrect the ‘Straight Bear Crush’ column starting with him.
Readers, you have our deepest apologies for not covering Jason Kelce content sooner. We’re not the biggest of sport fans at Bear World towers but that was before news broke about Jason Kelce’s impending retirement; resulting in a both a newfound interest in football for the BWM team and a disastrous and unfortunately permanent flooding of our basement. We blame Taylor Swift for this because her involvement with Travis Kelce has most assuredly brought everything Kelce-related into the pop culture stratosphere and for this all we can say is: Thank you Taylor; you really do love the gays, don’t you?
Apparently, Jason told his teammates on the Philadelphia Eagles that he would be retiring on Tuesday after their 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their wildcard round playoff game. News of his retirement was broken by ESPN and the NFL Network. Since then, however he has taken it upon himself to walk back his comments.
According to CNN, Jason clarified his position on the podcast New Heights on Wednesday which he co-hosts with his brother Travis.
“I just don’t think you’re in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. I just don’t” Jason said. “There’s too much emotion in the moment. There’s too much going down in the moment to really fully grasp that decision.”
And we would publicly like Jason Kelce to know that he should take all the time he wants in making that decision and that we are one thousand percent there for him, whenever and however he might need us.
Jason Kelce currently plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles, a team he has played with for 13 seasons. He and the Eagles won Super Bowl LII against the New England Patriots in 2018 but failed to take the win last season when they lost to his brother Travis’ team the Kansas City Chiefs. He is widely considered to be a future Hall of Famer.
See how much we can learn about sports when we’re properly motivated?!
I’ve been salivating over Jason Kelce for YEARS. Especially those eyebrows. Those eyebrows make me weak.
