Over 8000 people come together for the first ever Digital Bear Weekend
Our first ever Digital Bear Weekend took place this weekend and over 8700 people from around the world came together for a celebration of the bear community.
Featuring performances, workshops, shopping, interviews and much more, this weekend was a world first for the bear community and due to its huge popularity, a date has already been announced for a July Edition – 10, 11 & 12 July.
The audience for this weekend was a truly global affair, including attendees from USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, Japan, Europe and South America.
Robin Gray, Editor of Bear World Magazine, said: “I’m truly humbled by the response to our first ever Digital Bear Weekend. When we set out, we were planning on having 10 performers and I expected a few hundred people to tune in. We ended up with over 25 performances and over 7000 people! I’m so so proud of what we achieved and I have to give a shout out to the performers, our sponsors W | Bear and BearCity, and my colleagues Richard and Kyle for their hard work.”
Digital Bear Weekend returns 10-12 July with the promise of a bigger and more varied programme of activities.
