Burly Shirts designs and screen prints everything by hand in their workshop studio in Berwick, Maine. They print on high quality Next Level Apparel tees and tanks with the exception of tees in size 4X and up which are usually printed on Hanes Beefy Tees.
Another great thing they do is offer designs from guest artists as a way to spotlight them and help them to get their work out there and maybe begin their own careers in T-shirt design (and printing). A portion of each sale goes directly to the artist and the designs are prominently featured on the Burly Shirts site for a limited time (in order to give everyone a chance to be seen).
