Join the Tampa Bay Bears for Bears in the Buff
The Tampa Bay Bears would like to welcome you to their fourth annual Bears in the Buff Playalinda Clothing Optional Beach weekend taking place from October 25-27!
If you have not been to Playalinda, it’s a clothing optional beach on the East Coast of Florida near the Kennedy Space Center and is always a fun time! Last year they had over 300 nude bears and admirers enjoying a day at the beach from all over the Florida area and beyond.
This year’s event is set up to be bigger and better than last year!
For Bears in the Buff 2024 they bought out the hotel completely. Friday 10/25 and Saturday 10/26 are exclusively for the Bears!
Attendees will enjoy entertainment, DJ’s, a masquerade party, pool parties, naked bingo and other fun things! Want to start the fun earlier? They will have rooms reserved at the special group rate for Thursday evening, 10/24 as well.
NOTE: Friday and Saturday are the official run days so booking these 2-nights is mandatory to attend this event. You must purchase either Package 1 or Package 2 in order to attend Bears in the Buff. The hotel will not book your reservation without a registration link.
The registration link for the hotel will be included in your email after you purchase your run pass.
This year, the Tampa Bay Bears have created 2 different run packages: Bears at the Beach and Bears at the Pool, for those of you that aren’t beach people.

After the weekend festivities, all attendees are invited to join some of the Bears as they head to Orlando to join the Bears of Orlando at their Sunday Funday afternoon at the Savoy. The grill master at the Savoy will be serving up hotdogs and hamburgers from 3pm to 7pm.
Hotel Reservations
Once you purchase your run package for Bears in the Buff, you will be emailed a registration link. Once you receive the link, you will call the Holiday Inn Titusville – Kennedy Space Center directly and book your room. Room rates are $136.00 per night plus taxes and applicable fees which includes complimentary breakfast buffet.
There is no charge for parking. A two-night non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. If you want to add Thursday night to your reservation, please let them know at the time of your booking. Check out time with the hotel is 11:00 AM.
You can book now and cancel your hotel reservation up to September 24, 2024 for a full refund.
Transportation to and from the beach is included in Package 1…but if you choose to drive yourself, Playalinda parking will fill up quickly, so it is best to leave early and get a spot in Lot 13 next to the clothing optional area. Playalinda charges a rate of $20 per car for entry so it is best to carpool from the hotel to the beach when possible. Plan to depart by 6:15am to secure a good parking space or you could get stuck parking far away.
