International Bear Convergence is Giving a Big Bear Hug to Palm Springs!

Bears are coming out of hibernation and are heading to the International Bear Convergence (IBC), the premier winter event for Bears & admirers in Palm Springs, California. The event will take place on February 23-27, 2023. This desert oasis opens its arms and welcomes thousands of frisky, furry bears, their friends & their fans to Palm Springs

The four-day event will come to life with DJs, live entertainment and thousands of bears from around the globe. The last 8 years have been hugely successful and expect more of the same in 2023 with record-breaking attendance. Nino Eilets, Co-Producer says “This year being our 9^th, we will be pulling out all the stops so expect this to be an event to remember”.

Get your weekend started with our Early Bear Welcome party at Hunter’s Night Club on Arenas Road, around the corner from the hotel.

During the day kick back and enjoy themed pool parties, with music provided by world renown DJ’s at the newly renovated & fabulous Hotel ZOSO. With multiple bars, cabanas, outdoor-lounge areas, and our new sun deck area overlooking the action at the pool, you’re destined to have a fantastic day. Sunday’s pool party will feature a live performance by crowd pleaser, Big Dipper.

Friday afternoon head over to BlackBook Bar on Arenas for our annual Meat & Greet sponsored by BlackBook & Growler. See old friends and make new ones. There will be a few surprises, but you must go to find out…

Saturday’s main dance event, Bear Heat, will feature a live performance by the spectacular CeCe Peniston. Sponsored by Russell Harris Event Group

Sunday once again we will be featuring our amazing Hungry Bear Drag Brunch. Don’t you know that brunch is the most important meal of the day especially if it includes being serenaded to by a fabulous queen and Bottomless Mimosas. So hit us up before you head out to the pool.

Sunday night is our Comedy night and back by popular demand, The Dirty Show with Skylar Gentry. If you saw him last year you know to be ready for some outrageous comedy. And this year he has revamped the show which will be even funnier if that’s even possible that last year. And immediately after the show to show our appreciation for your attendance enjoy our Tito’s Vodka hospitality open bar. Tito’s Vodka, Beer, & Soft Drinks while supplies last.

The host hotel is sold out and currently has a waiting list, but there a several hotels very close that still may have availability. Attendance was over 3500 last year and is expected to grow exponentially this year.
