Get Ready to Roar: Bear World TV Has Landed!
Yesterday (August 7th) we launched our very own broadcast platform — and it’s loud, proud, and totally unmissable! Introducing Bear World TV, the brand-new video channel from us with content across our website, YouTube, and social platforms.
Designed by and for bears, cubs, chubs, admirers, and everyone in between, Bear World TV will present weekly video segments that mix bold storytelling with bear-centric charm. Whether you’re looking for nightlife tips, pop culture takes, travel inspo, or a laugh-out-loud moment, Bear World TV promises it all — with fur and flair.
Meet the Hosts Bringing the Heat
At the heart of Bear World TV are five standout hosts — each offering a unique voice and vibe:
- Marquis The Honey Bear gets “unseriously serious” in Marquis is Barely Informed, a comedic spin on current affairs and community life.
- Joe Martone keeps your gay agenda full in What to Know with Joe, highlighting events, icons, and everyday legends (sponsored by Devious Saint).
- Alexander Rodriguez, known for his sharp wit and deep interviews, presents Alexander on Screen, featuring in-depth conversations with queer creators, performers, and provocateurs.
- Ravi Roth takes you on global adventures in Ravi Round the World, a travel-focused segment celebrating queer joy, visibility, and wanderlust (sponsored by Island House Key West).
- Hunter Harden brings the nightlife energy in Hunter’s Hot Nights, where the beats drop, glitter flies, and body positivity reigns (sponsored by Gun Oil).

Each host brings their authentic voice to the screen, creating a rich tapestry of humor, commentary, and connection. “Bear World TV will not only entertain but also amplify the many voices within our vibrant, diverse community,” says Bear World Magazine Co-Founder and Executive Producer Richard Jones.
A New Chapter for Bear World Magazine
As Bear World Magazine approaches its 13th anniversary this September, the launch of Bear World TV marks an exciting evolution. Co-founders Richard Jones and Robin Gray see the platform as a natural next step in expanding the brand’s mission — one rooted in body positivity, inclusivity, and queer celebration.
“Our representation in media is evolving, and so should our journalism,” says Alexander Rodriguez. “Viewers can expect smarter questions, deeper conversations, and a whole lot of fun.”
And fun is definitely on the menu. From dazzling party picks to heartfelt community moments, Bear World TV delivers realness with a wink.

Lights, Camera, Celebration
Publicity photos for the show were shot by Nathan Noyes at the Creator Lounge at W Hollywood, a glamorous setting that reflects the bold energy of this new venture. With its art deco flair and nods to Old Hollywood, the lounge served as the perfect backdrop for Bear World TV’s visual debut.
“Bear World TV is a call to celebrate who we are: loudly, proudly, and together,” says Jones.
And with fresh segments dropping every week, this is just the beginning.
