‘Drag Race’ gags us with first straight male contestant!
The queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 have been revealed, and one contestant is bringing something we’ve never seen before to the competition!
The trailer has been released and the public was able to “Meet the Queens” for the first time on Friday! According to the new teaser trailer, Drag Race fans should be expecting more sweet, candy-coated, game-changing twists this season. Speaking of “game-changing”, are you ready for Maddy Morphosis?
Maddy Morphosis is the first ever heterosexual, cisgender male contestant to compete on the show, and fans are gagging! Maddy Morphosis refers to himself as “Arkansas’ most overrated drag queen”, and his drag style is definitely of the campy/comedy type. Well, let’s just see how much Maddy slays it!
In addition to Maddy Morphosis, Season 14 will also feature two transgender contestants: Kerry Colby and Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté, who both hail from Los Angeles. The other eleven Season 14 contestants are: Alyssa Hunter (Puerto Rico), Angeria Paris VanMichaels (Atlanta), Bosco (Seattle), Daya Bette (Missouri), Deja Skye (Fresno), Jasmine Kennedie (New York), Jorgeous (Nashville), June Jambalaya (LA), Lady Camden (San Francisco), Orion Story (Michigan), and Willow Pill (Denver).
It was also revealed that this season will also include the return of Untucked, giving us all the behind the scenes drama. We just love to watch the queens spill tea backstage!
Start your engines, because Season 14 of Drag Race will premiere on VH1 on January 7!
