Bear Frolic Returns to Ottawa in March!

Back by popular demand, Bear Frolic returns for yet another amazing weekend of fun and frolic in Canada’s capital city.

As in the past, you can purchase a Very Important Bear (VIB) pass which will admit you to all the events for one very low price. All events, except for the Bear Feast, can be purchased individually.

There is a very limited number of VIB tickets available though and they will sell out.

This is the third incarnation of Bear Frolic and it keeps getting bigger and better each time. The host hotel is located in the iconic ByWard Market area. It’s steps away from dozens of restaurants, bars, shops and it’s a very short walk to Parliament Hill and several great museums and art galleries. However, most of Bear Frolic’s activities, including the dance party, will occur in the host hotel so you won’t have far to go to get back to your room.

The pool party is off-site at Splash Wave Pool but there is a shuttle bus provided to get you there and back. That activity will feature a pizza feast followed by two hours of wet fun in the wave pool, a huge whirlpool (bear soup anyone?) and even a water slide!

In addition there will be a group brunch and a Tex-Mex feast at the Lone Star Bar and Grill (VIB ticket holders only). Attendees are also invited to the Bear Bingo party to help elect the next Mr. Ottawa Bear in a fun competition; or they can hang out with the bears for board and card games in the hotel’s bistro area.
