A trans actor is one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men!
Brian Michael Smith may play a fireman on TV, but he’s also hot in real life!
People Magazine has released their lists of Sexiest Men, and trans actor Brian Michael Smith, of 9-1-1: Lone Star, was among their Sexiest Men on TV! According to Out Magazine, this marks the first time a trans man has been featured in People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive coverage.
Although Paul Rudd was chosen as People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, there are some other lists, including Sexiest Men on TV and Sexiest Men of 2021. The list includes other queer actors, such as Ronen Rubinstein, Smith’s 9-1-1 co-star, and Pose star Dyllón Burnside.
“Well howdy, partner,” People wrote about Smith. “The 9-1-1: Lone Star star was one of People’s Ones to Watch in 2021 and we will definitely not have a hard time keeping an eye on him!”
Smith took to Instagram to express his gratitude.
“I’ve been called many things, this is a first. Incredibly honored to be included in this list with so many actors I admire. Big love to [People] for the historic shout-out.”
