Every summer, there are destinations that simply become holiday spots, and then there are others that transform into true meeting points for an international community.

This past August from the 7th through the 18th, Torremolinos experienced a transformation with the new edition of MAD.BEAR Beach, the largest international gathering of the bear community held on the Mediterranean.

Over the course of eleven days, more than 10,000 participants from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and many other countries came together to share much more than a program of parties.

They shared friendship, diversity, culture, freedom, and the opportunity to reconnect with friends arriving from every corner of the world in one of Europe’s most iconic LGBTQIA+ destinations.

With more than two decades of history, MAD.BEAR has established itself as a leading international brand and a major tourism driver for Torremolinos, generating a significant economic impact on hotels, restaurants, shops, and local businesses.

Hotel Ritual, the Heart of the Festival.

As tradition dictates, Hotel Ritual Torremolinos once again became the true epicenter of the festival.

Its popular Pool Parties brought together hundreds of attendees to enjoy international DJs, live performances, entertainment, and an atmosphere that has become one of the most recognizable images of MAD.BEAR Beach.

Freedom by the Pool

The much-loved Naked Pool Parties returned too, a true fan favorite of the event!

Far from any stereotype, these pool parties stand out for providing a relaxed, safe, and respectful environment where freedom, respect, and coexistence are part of the festival’s very identity.

The Mediterranean as a Backdrop

Eden Beach was a cherished place that hosted some of the most anticipated days of the program.

Facing the Mediterranean Sea, attendees from dozens of nationalities came together to enjoy music, gastronomy, and long beach days in an international atmosphere that perfectly reflects the spirit of MAD.BEAR Beach: taking time to enjoy life, meeting new people, and celebrating diversity.

The International Nights of Aqua Emporio Club

When the sun went down each night, the action moved to Aqua Emporio Club, located in the heart of La Nogalera. It featured two different musical environments: House music and Pop music.

The club hosted some of the most renowned international parties on the bear circuit that it seemed like the party never stopped!

Guest promoters included prominent names such as Furball NYC, BeefDip, Stay Club Istanbul, Bear Pop, Maschio Peloso, POSH Beirut, and Company Milano, creating a lineup that brought together some of the most prestigious brands on the international bear scene.

The More Underground Side

The Bunker Club once again served as the home of the festival’s more alternative atmosphere.

Opening nights, jockstrap parties, themed events, and various fetish-oriented experiences offered a program designed for those seeking something different that’s always within the safe, inclusive, and respectful environment that defines MAD.BEAR.

Mr. MAD.BEAR 2026 Competition

With each year comes the annual Mr. MAD.BEAR competition!

This year, with over a dozen sexy and handsome contestants, the Mr. MAD.BEAR 2026 winner of the contest was Sheridan who traveled all the way from Washington D.C.!

A Very Special Night

On August 14, Centuryon Club hosted one of the festival’s major productions with the celebration of POSH Beirut, one of the most prestigious LGBTQIA+ parties in the Middle East.

Featuring guest performers, international DJs, and high-quality production, this event quickly became one of the most memorable moments of MAD.BEAR Beach 2026.
