A reflection of Bears On The River 2026 in France with photos!

Check out this reflectively written piece about Bears On The River 2026 in France by Vincent Keith with lots of sexy photos!

I’m happy to say that Bears On The River 2026 was a great success.

In the end, we had 80 people attend from all over the world. Bears came from Hong Kong, Texas, Canada, New York, UK, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium and of course, all over France.

The vibe was relaxed and super friendly. Sexy too. We were lucky with amazing weather with the full sun out the whole time.

The campground (which we had completely to ourselves) was looking beautiful and the Dordogne river, which was right there, was great and so refreshing. People spent hours standing in the water and chatting.

All of the meals were catered and everyone said they were delicious. I was worried that for a bunch of bears, there might not be enough food, but there was plenty of food and wine the whole time. The bar was humming too.

People spent the day on the “beach” and in the river. At meal times we met back at the bar/dining area. In the afternoons, bears slept under trees with full bellies, and then went back into the river.

To start with, people were all wearing swimming trunks, but by the last day, most people didn’t bother. There was no pressure to be naked, but many people chose to be.

In the evenings, after dinner, we were mostly in the bar/lounge/garden area talking and drinking.

As the evening wore on, they lit a nice fire in the fire pit and the warm orange light added to the atmosphere.

People may wonder if there was a lot of hooking up. I am told there was a lot, but it was discrete. Lots of different people, couples, and groups just slipped away for fun.

We did hear some noises from the shower block once or twice, but honestly, it wasn’t in your face, obtrusive, or creepy.

I was a bit surprised over the first couple of days not seeing lots of images and videos on socials, but the reason was that people just weren’t on their phones.

Lots of guys actually commented on that. We were all busy talking and telling stories and resting and eating… there were very few phones out.

Luckily, I did have my camera, and a good friend Addy was shooting video content. We were careful to not show people who did not want to be on screen/film of course, but I did take a lot of photos, including a “jocks at midnight” shoot in the woods that got a bit steamy.

I’ll be publishing that in due course.

I also shot a bunch of individual nude portraits, but not as many as I would have liked, as I was also relaxing and having fun too, after all.

Our friends from oursrouges.fr came out on Saturday and set up a space to sell t-shirts, including the artwork they made especially for the event, and everything was made to measure right on the spot. They also hung out with us a bit, they are great guys.

A lot of our French brothers didn’t quite know what to make of an event like this before coming. They had concerns about language barriers, not knowing anyone, or being pushed into “uncomfortable” situations.

In the end, they really had nothing to worry about.

People were encouraged to join in, and if someone was standing alone, people would go up and say hello. And on the sexual side, consent was the word of the day. People were cool and respectful.

Things just flowed so naturally with lots of body positivity in a relaxed and friendly environment and of course, lots of cuddles!

On the Sunday night, we had a Toga party, and it was hilarious. Some guys knew exactly what it was about, and others were newbies to the concept. You should have heard the discussions. I kept saying all you need is a white sheet. In the end, some guys came decked out at proper Roman consuls as if right out of a movie!

The camp staff and passersby were amazed to see 80 some odd romans handing out. Later that night we found ourselves at the bar in the most amazingly friendly group vibe I’ve ever experienced.

The guys were all hanging out like old friends with arms around shoulders, hugs, belly rubs… (a bit of kissing) and everyone mixed with everyone. No cliques or anything. The energy was amazing.

On the Monday at the end of the event there were lots of hugs and the exchanging of numbers. It felt sad to see people going away, though we did have a littler after party at my house for those still around.

Everyone all said they wanted to come next year, and there’s good news… We’ve already set the dates for the next one from May 14th through May 17th of 2027!

Even though this year’s event is over and we’ve all left, our WhatsApp groups are still going strong. People are staying in touch, sharing their lives, and the occasional naughty photo.
